Dial & Bloom

Privacy

Dial & Bloom is designed to keep your brewing data private. You can use the app without an account. If you sign in, some data is saved to your account so it can sync and be recovered.

Your data

If you use Dial & Bloom without signing in, your brewing data stays on that device. Clearing the app’s stored data may remove it, so make a backup before clearing it or moving to another device.

When you sign in, the brewing data needed for your account, recipes, and recovery is saved online. Some device preferences remain only on that device.

Household

If you use Household, members can see the coffees, equipment, preferences, and current recipes shared through the Household.

They cannot see the owner’s Brew history, feedback, private notes, backups, support data, or account settings.

Backups and deletion

Backups and exports may contain private brewing information. Keep downloaded files private.

Signed-in owners can export or permanently delete their cloud app data. Deleting cloud data does not erase data already stored on your devices or files you have downloaded. It also does not delete your sign-in account.

Support

Nothing is sent to support automatically.

If you choose to create a support or diagnostic file, Dial & Bloom lets you review it before you download or share it. Some diagnostic files may contain details about your coffees or brewing data, so treat them as private.

Email and tracking

Your email address is used for sign-in and Household invitations. Dial & Bloom does not send marketing email.

Dial & Bloom does not use product analytics, advertising, or marketing trackers.

For signed-in owners, Brew history contributes to the worldwide Brew total. Only the combined total is shown; individual Brew records and personal totals are not.

Service providers

Dial & Bloom uses third-party services for hosting, account sign-in, cloud storage, and transactional email.
